Regular maintenance for IRIS shooting machine
No stickers or other adhesives may be affixed to the acrylic glass housing, either inside or out. Likewise, do not affix anything to the Dibond base.
- Daily maintenance and checks
- In the version with Pupille Led lighitng with arm:
check that the tightening nuts on the electrical box are tight.
- Check the radio trigger battery level
- Check that the radio shutter release is properly
engaged in the camera's hot shoe. To do this:
o Switch on the radio shutter release,
o Switch on the camera
o Check that you can see the symbol
- If there is no symbol, then unlock the radio trigger and re-engage it fully in the clamp.
- Apply a clean cloth to both the inner and outer casing, and to the bottom.
=> If the Acrylic housing is really dirty, use 99.9% Isopropyl alcohol; never use products such as acetone.
- Clean any dust from the camera unit.
- Check that the electrical plug is properly engaged in the socket on the left-hand side of the machine.
- Check that there is no dust or foreign matter in the flash battery charger housing.
- Check that electrical cables are not tangled.
- Controls basic camera seangs.

o F-stop f11
- Remote control check:
the button must be free and not in the locked position (ring pushed back around the button, usually with a red mark).
