Windows Laptop Installation

Here are the initial steps for the Windows laptop installation before CEGID deployment.

1. Select the Language

2. Choose your Keyboard Layout

3. Skip the second Keyboard

4. Enter name of the computer, it should always be define like this: IRIS-NAMEOFGALLERY

Change the name of the gallery accordingly

5. Select the computer/account type: “Set up for Work or School”

6. Enter the Credentials provided from helpdesk
Use the iris galerie email and password provided by the helpdesk. Most of the time the password is the same one that you already know. But you always need to confirm with HelpDesk.

7. DO NOT create extra security layers if asked.

8. DO NOT setup Windows Hello if asked
